About the Calibration fee

• Calibration fee paid for calibration is set as standard traceability costs for securing traceability and maintaining national measurement standards with and manpower and material costs involved with calibrating the metric and measurement instruments.
• Standard traceability cost is used to cover the costs required to maintain standard traceability throughout the whole process from international and national measurement standards through national calibration laboratories to industries, and the benefits are returned to industries and testing and inspection institutions that use the metric and measurement instrument as well as to all the people eventually.

• Comparison with international measurement standards
• Development, establishment, maintenance, and enhancement of national measurement standards
• Development and dissemination of validated standard calibration procedure documents
• Cultivation of advanced high precision measurement technology manpower
• Supporting the operation of the national calibration system
• Development and operation of proficiency test program to enhance measurement capability
• Contribute to the dissemination of measurement standards at the international level by using investigation, research, materials publication, and providing information to enhance measurement accuracy.
