Calibration fee paid for calibration is set as standard traceability costs for securing traceability and maintaining national measurement standards with and manpower and material costs involved with calibrating the metric and measurement instruments.
Standard traceability cost is used to cover the costs required to maintain standard traceability throughout the whole process from international and national measurement standards through national calibration laboratories to industries, and the benefits are returned to industries and testing and inspection institutions that use the metric and measurement instrument as well as to all the people eventually.
